If it's not on the menu then perhaps Easy Settings can't see it. Is your computer as from the factory or have you changed the disk or reinstalled Windows?
John -
Full factory!
-
Which model did you purchase? Have you tried reinstalling Easy Settings?
-
NP700Z5A-S02FR and yes I did reinstall the software from the latest file available on the Samsung website.
-
Is the Sandisk iSSD P4 8GB still listed in Device Manager Devmgmt.msc?
-
Yes it is listed (below the Hitachi HDD).

You aren't the first to encounter problems with the ExpressCache. See the advice here.
John -
After uninstalling EasySetting and the ExpressCache driver, reboot and then reinstall them, it works!!

Thanks for the update. There's evidently something slightly fragile.
John -
It seems that the driver may not be well written. Quite a number of user already reported similar issues.
-
Hi this also happend to me, i mention it on another thread, reinstalling easysetting doesnt help me, I have Laptop for few days so I did full recovery and it solve this problem. Now everything works fine
-
The same issue!~!
I format everything of S7, including the SSD
really stupid!
I cannot find any useable method for this problem and have tried every possible way I could think of.
Now, I have to set this SSD to readyboost.
Can anyone tell me how to fix it???

Hi all, follow this guide to retrieve your ExpressCache partition:

Even if you don't have the ExpressCache visible in the Easy Settings Menu, it's still there and active, you just can't change it's settings. Not sure why you would want to anyway.
Just so you know that you don't have to uninstall/reinstall etc, it's fine even if you can't see it. The service is still running and doing it's job just fine. -
That is if you did not reinstall or wipe the partition.
-
Ofcourse, but most seem to just have the ExpressCache Option mysteriously go away from the Easy Settings. If you did something actively to the ExpressCache drive, then obviously other things are needed, but I think it's rather few who try to change things to their ExpressCache on that level who don't realize that they should also do the rest of the related work. (Drivers etc.)
-
Not sure where you get your most from.

Several people have written about loosing the ExpressCache option from the Easy Settings menu, but only a handfull have actually reformatted it. I'm not gonna go thru alot of posts and find links just to amuse you.
I am trying to be helpfull while you seem to mainly focus on trashtalking the machine, and now even me? This post you just made was just a waste of time and provided nothing for anyone except for you, in what seems to be a personal vendetta towards me for trying to balance up all your negativity about this machine.
If you have anything to say to me, please use the PM function and let's keep this forum as clean as possible for those who are looking for helpfull information instead. -
Just pointing out the thread of the other two or so that popped out over the past week which has people who reformatted their machines and lose EC, simply because this thread only has one person with EC problems without reformatting. I'm still not sure how you derived the most from, granted that only one or two posters didn't completely reformat.
Where's my ExpressCache menu?!
