This thread is mostly for people having wifi issues on their samsung series 7 chronos (the 700z5c in particular.)

For me, I am supposed to have 25mbps down, 4 up. Initially, I got like 10/4. Then I updated drivers, and it went up to like 16-18.

After that, I kept fiddling and disabled bluetooth, and for some strange reason my DL shot up to 25, and stayed there for like a day. Now, it's back down to fluctuating between 10 and 18. Does anybody experience the same issue (weak wifi reception etc. or not getting speeds you should) and if so, have you found any fixes for it? I'd rather not install/buy a new wifi card because of the costs/times, so I'm wondering if any of y'all have found fixes for it. Or even notice it, maybe mine is just defective?

I don't know if you used that stupid easy support software to download the drivers for your wifi, but I did when I bought my samsung a few days ago only to find that when using this IntelĀ® Driver Update Utility there was a newer version, maybe this Utility could be useful to you also. I've since deleted most of the crapware that came with seeing it either wasn't working well or working too well, your samsung might be trying to connect to samsung (at inappropriate times) to see if you need drivers or after gathering information from you so as samsung could determine what software adjustment you might need, which might be a reason why you get variable download speeds.
