    Does anyone kow which new samsung laptops will be available after windows 7 is released on october 22?

    All of them, or perhaps updated version of them. After 10/22, no brand new computer is going to come with Vista pre-installed.

    "Brand new" being, I assume, any new models (eg the new X series) and new stock which is currently in the distribution chain. There will, however, be stock which is already on the shelves which has Vista already installed.

    Right now, with what I have seen in the retail market...very few shops actually have computers in stock that are running Vista. Best Buy at least has not gotten any new computer shipments in for a few weeks, and the selection is quite poor as a result.

    Within a few days, it is entirely possible that our local Best Buy will only have Apple machines in stock.

    I want to buy my laptop as soon as windows 7 is released, so thats why Im waiting for a good Samsung one, does anyone know what happened to the Samsung R620 FS03UK? that was available a few weeks ago and now its gone? will it come back with windows 7 on it? It had all the features and specs I needed except the 1080p screen..

    It is frustrating that none of Samsung laptops is officially supporting Windows 7.
