Urgently need a fix for this. I have an NP 535U3C. Downloaded Windows 8.1 last month - big mistake. Now I cant stayed paired to my samsung Galaxy Ace mobile for more than 3 seconds and cant transfer anything...

I downloaded Samsung Update Plus that supposedly searches for the latest drivers, but said all my drivers were up to date....

Then uninstalled my bluetooth and put this one in its place:

Download ASUS K55A Qualcomm Atheros BlueTooth Driver 8.0.1.306 for Windows 8.1 64 bit

Made no difference - the bluetooth is constantly searching for devices and cannot catch one - rejects all files.

If anyone can give me a fix for this, it would be most appreciated. I have read countless forums and found nothing that works.

Which version (the last 5 digits) of the NP535U3C? There may be different hardware configurations.

Samsung Update Plus is superseded by SW Update. It should have offered that as an update. If not, you can find it in the downloads section of the Samsung support site.

If SW Update doesn't automatically offer you the updates then you can use the Find Model option to rummage through the database. Some versions of the NP535U3C have some Windows 8.1 files. I see Bluetooth listed under the NP535U3C-P02PH (Philippines). However, if the driver version number is not very similar to whatever is listed for your NP535U3C under Windows 8 (if there are no 8.1 files) then it may indicate different hardware and you will need to do further hunting.
