As far as I know Samsung stopped selling its notebooks, at least in Europe. I wonder what are all the international markets they sell their current notebooks? And how does international warranty working (at least, for their higher end models) if they retracted from markets, such as Europe. Sure, they have a global presence in cell phones and refrigerators, but that's different.

Last time I looked Samsung were only selling notebooks in Korea, China and USA. You can figure this out for yourself by downloading and installing (on any computer) Samsung's SW Update software. Use the find model function to browse the entire database (notebooks ending with "L" and "M" are the newest models) to see where they are sold.
I'm note sure if Samsung knows how their international warranty service works - this web page is very vague. While a Samsung service branch in a country where a notebook is no longer sold may be willing to take in a defective machine, they would have to obtain any spare parts from elsewhere so the turnaround time will not be fast.
Samsung's underlying hardware is good although they went through a bad patch some years ago with UEFI-related problems causing bricking. These forums are quiet with only one discussion of a significant hardware problem on a recent model.
