    X60 plus CPU power

    hey I currently own samsung X60plus which has core 2 duo 7200 and I was wondering how this cpu would compared to my desktop cpu AMD FX-53... if anyone has idea please write it!

    The FX-53 is single core and the T7200 is dual core. I would expect the speed would be similar for applications running only one core, but the T7200 will feel faster because of having two cores to share the work and it will be much faster for anything which is multi-threaded.

    You can compare the performance of these two CPUs at Tom's Hardware. However, the FX-53 is in the desktop charts and the T7200 is in the mobile charts. However, comparison of overall computer performance depends on other hardware such as amount of RAM and hard disk speed. Running benchmarking software such as PCMark05 on each comparison would give a better overall comparison.
