    help r610 bios update

    I was just updating my R610 bios to the new 04LK but its just stayin on (file extraction) please help not sure what to do I dont want to turn it off in case it kills my laptop.

    Not a good situation to be in. It should not kill the laptop at this stage.

    All it is doing is unpacking the *.exe file to a designated folder on your hard disk.

    But im thinking what if its gone past this stage, and started to update the bios but however the program hanged before it could update the interface, so it looks like its still on the file extraction stage?

    Question is, do you feel lucky?
