I was checking the temps of my Samsung R480 after 15 miutes of gameplay and this is what I got:

This is my first Samsung laptop so I don't really know if those temps are "normal" or slightly high.

CPU temps are normal to me but GPU temps look high, I wonder if there is any way to increase the fan speed.

Any help would be appreciated (=

These temps are perfectly fine, GPUs are designed to work in 125C. Getting a notebook cooler or at least propping up your laptop should help dissipate some of the heat.

The temperatures look OK and I wouldn't get too worried about temperatures up to 90C. I'm not sure if I would agree about the maximum 125C (105C looks more likely). It is possible that there is a higher fan speed waiting to cut in when the temperature creeps up a bit more. Samsung have usually endowed their notebooks with good cooling systems.

You will, however, have to watch that the maximum temperature does not creep up with time as the cooling system gets progressively clogged with fluff. Avoid using the computer on soft surfaces such as bed clothes.

    Thanks!

I found the GPU temps high because my m11x with GT335M never goes over 75° (playing for hours), and this R480 was at 85° in only 15 minutes.

Do you guys know if there is some kind of guide or images of the inside of the R480?, it would make things easier if I need to replace the thermal paste.
