    Hi all,

I have the samsung q70 laptop.

Can anyone tell me what the clockgen key is for this laptop and what motherboard is used?

Has anyone else had any success in overclocking this laptop?

ClockGen works with the ATI chipset in the R20 / R60+ but the Q70 uses the Intel 965GM chipset for which overclocking tools are harder to find. CPU-Z will give details of the motherboard while SiSoftware Sandra will give more details of the hardware.

You can have a look at SetFSB which works with some of the older notebooks with Intel chipsets but I don't know if it includes specific support for the timing chips used with the Intel 965GM chipset. I would tend to leave it to someone else to find out what is possible.
