    samsung 700z doesnt turn on backlit keyboard automatically

    Hello,
    I bought Samsung series 7.
    My problem is that backlit keyboard doesnt turn on automatically when surrounding is dark.
    Keyboard work well when I turn it on/off with F10/F9.
    On upper righ corner is light sensor and easy settings says:"Automatically turn on the keyboard backlit when the ambient illumination decreases." - but it doesnt work.

    Do you know whats the problem or which settings am I missing?

    There is another keyboard backlight control on the General tab in Easy Settings. Try changing those sliders.

    Also, remember that the backlight doesn't come on unless you touch the keyboard.

    Thank you for response, but I cant find any other settings for backlid in easy settings.

    I found another problem... I cant switch On/Off my wifi using F12 key.
    I must go to easy settings and switch it through easy settings...

    Do you know why is this happening?

    It's on the "General" page on my X4C but maybe the 700Z is different - we need another 700Z owner to check.

    If Fn+F12 is not working then I would reinstall Easy Settings. Use Easy Software Manager to check for an update.

    The Easy Settings has a scroll bar that you need to use to scroll down to get to the keyboard settings.

    In easy settings is option for backlid keyboard (in general->backlid keyboard) (brightnes and turn off interval) but there is no checkbox or something else to do it automatically...

    I have made every update in easy soft manager. reinstalled easy settings but still the same: when I push Fn+F12 it lounches easy settings (same as Fn+F1). I cant turn off wifi just by Fn+F12.
