    Hi, can anyone help
Have an R70 that repeatedly gets stuck when booting up...button and status lights work ok but the samsung blue screen only boots up partially and then gets stuck.
If I try really hard pressing the F2 key when switching on then I can get into the BIOS system and then after ( I think ) clicking default the machine comes on
I have a feeling maybe the settings need adjusting but I have very little understanding
Machine was a gift and is out of warranty but has rarely been used
    Thanks Polk1

There should be an option in the BIOS setup to reset to the system defaults.

If you haven't got any personal data on the HDD then I would be tempted to restore the operating system. You can get to that option by pressing F4 at the BIOS screen.
