    Hi Jolly, welcome to NBR.

    Sorry to hear that :(

Did you try holding the power button for 10-20 secs?

Otherwise you can try the procedure described in this post which sometimes (but not always) can help in these situations.

If you know the battery is charged, yet you are unable to turn it on even without the charger connected, it is more likely that the battery or some of the power circuitry is the problem.

Others here are likely to have better suggestions than me for diagnosing hardware issues :)

Are you saying that the power indicator is always on even if the computer is off and the PSU is not plugged in? That's definitely not right and points to a problem with the power electronics in the computer. What happens if you try disconnecting the charger, removing the battery, holding down the power button for 20+ seconds then putting the battery back in?

It could be stuck in a sleep or hibernation mode, the above should let you recover from those.

I've known RAM problems cause that type of behaviour. If the BIOS can't find the RAM then the lights flash for a few seconds and then go off.

Try removing the RAM module(s) and then replace each one in turn. Sometimes the contacts have oxidised and removal / replacement cleans them. If you have any spare suitable RAM then try it.
