Does the Samsung r580 have any type of light that I can turn on in the dark to see the keyboard when my laptop screen is turned off but my projector screen is on? The LED lights around the mousepad aren't enough.

If so, how can I turn it on?

By the way, so far the laptop seems pretty good. It doesn't seem to get too hot too which is important to me.

If it doesn't have any light at all, I might have to sell the laptop though and buy the Toshiba M645-S4048.

    Thanks.

Sorry, no keyboard light of any sort, just the mousepad LED gimmick lights.

Just get a USB light. I've had one for over 10 yrs now and it works well.

I second that. Takes up no space. Problem solved.
