I am using ubuntu 64 bit edition in my laptop r70 / 009 and I could never use my wifi connection with it. I even tried with the compat wireless drivers ( http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download) and then it can recongnize the networks and connect to one of them but the computer suddenly freezes after a while..

    anyone else with this problem??

I think you will have more response in the Linux forum if you indicate the make / model of the wireless card. I doubt this is is a specific Samsung issue.
