    Hi Guys,

    I have a Samsung series 9 np900x3c-a05uk.

I'm experiencing problems with my Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity.

I was able to reduce the wifi problems by rolling back to the Default Windows 8 Microsoft Drivers.

However BT is still not working half of the times when I go out of hibernation.
    This is really annoying.

Is there a software fix for that?
Can I replace the Wifi+BT card? Which one should I use?

    Thanks!

It's the same card and issues, such as with power management, are shared.

    Thanks John.

Still - are there compatible cards?
Isn't there something better then the 6235 I can buy??

There's the new Intel 7260 but I don't know how well it works and there are various other half height mini-PCIe WiFi / Bluetooth combo cards to choose from. However, doing a swap will entail getting inside your X3C.

So first work through the troubleshooting for your Intel 6235. Did you try the latest driver direct from Intel?

Is it hard to open the X3C?

I have followed the manual. Will give it some time to see if that actually helped, an what impact it has on battery life.
I didn't try the latest driver from Intel - all the manuals say I should revert back to the Microsoft driver.
Should I try the intel one? Did they fix their issues?

Intel have fixed most of the problems but I read there is another fix in the pipeline.

You can read the discussion, such as this, on the Intel forum.

Note that the antennae location on the Series 9 (at the back of the chassis between the hinges) means that the WiFi signal strength isn't as good as on notebooks where the antennae are in the display. However, this should affect the Bluetooth performance.
