    hey guys,

i've done a google search and compared the two laptops side by side (spec sheet) and other than the video card and the physical look of the 2 systems, i can't tell what the difference is between the two. What makes the x460 cost $300 more than the p460?

x460 seems to be the ultra-portable. You're paying for portability.

    Different materials used in construction.
    X460- magnesium/aluminum

Right, the difference is the P460 being 500 grams more heavy, thicker and different material.
