just got the series 5 ultrabook and its great for everything i use it for.
my fiance asked if she could play video games on it but when i searched the game on systemrequirementslab the graphics card was not able to play it but everything else was more than capable.

is there a way to upgrade the graphics chip?

unfortunately you cannot upgrade most graphics chips in laptops. some laptops have ports like thunderbolt which allow you to attach external GPUs but that tech is still in its infancy and the 5 series does not have the needed ports.

just curious what game does she want to play? it might still be possible as long as the settings are really low.

Man it's a ultrabook you don't have a graphics card, you have a integrated graphics processor, to be honest I don't even know why anyone would buy a PC without a graphics card other than for work purposes and even then it's questionable. I know many will say that they don't need a graphics card, my reply to them is that you don't really need a PC, there are libraries, internet cafes and alike. But it's convenient to own your a PC and so is having a graphics card in a PC.

The stronger model of your Ultrabook; NP535U4C-A01US with AMD Trinity A10 APU, would be perfectly capable to play The Walking Dead in max out settings. Anyway the Walking Dead is not a demanding game, therefore your Ultrabook also should run it at least near low level graphics details.
