hey guys, so i just got my nc10 a couple of days ago. i love its great. only one thing with it. i also have an alienware m15x and the temps on that were usually gpu-53(idle),85(gaming) and the cpu-38(idle), 46(gaming).

on my nc10 the cpu(while running a couple of programs for a while can go up to 60 celcius! ive never seen a cpu that high before. and my hdd goes up to 47 and never seen that before either. i know they are not extremely high temps but it just worries me thats all because ive never seen them that high on any comp.
    are these temps safe? thanks

60C is not hot for a notebook / netbook CPU. If it was 90C I would get worried. 47C on the HDD is hotter than I would expect. What is the model of the HDD (Device Manager will give the model number)?

Check the BIOS for an option to keep the fan running continuously. The NC20 has it and it is called the fan silent mode. It might keep everything a little cooler.

    That 73C doesn't look right.

Can you use HWMonitor for a second opinion? Capture the display (Alt+Prnt Scrn or Alt+Fn+Prnt Scrn), save the file (in Paint or similar) and attach it to your post.
