    last year i bought a laptop from the company i was working for a big event russian olympics
    they forgot to tell us that the windows thy were using ha an expiration date and they had locked the bios
    suddenly the pc did not load and when i tried to install a new windows version to overwrie the disk
    i discovered that the bios also was locked.,
    called a few colleagues but non of the pwds they told me worked.
    support center is charging 70 euros which is the difference of price when we got the mashins
    is there any way to use a master pwd.

    You have to pay support if they locked you from the bios, they do this for various reasons as mentioned. If it is just windows then a new standard key for that version may be the ticket for you.

    we were not informed by seller that the bios is locked
    and despite ibought a new windows i cannot load not ofcourse to go back to russia and complain for the attitude
