My x360 recently got damaged in an exam hall :(.

The bottom left of the screen cracked and thus I now have a very annoying black section there.

Does anyone happen to know the part number of the screen so I can purchase a replacement?

Samsung unfortunately also will not cover the replacement despite the laptop being a mere 3 weeks old :(, so recommendations for suppliers is also welcome. Better still, would be if there are other screens which sport a higher resolution.

It is all very annoying, as otherwise I love the laptop.

    Cheers

A Samsung authorised repair centre in UK is Digicare:

    Name Digicare Limited
    Phone 0870 112 5440
    Fax 0870 112 5441
Address Unit C, Stafford Park 12, Telford
    Postcode TF3 3BJ
    Email [email protected]
    Website http://www.digicare.co.uk/
    Opening Hours Mon to Thu 09.00 - 17.15, Friday 9:00 - 16:45

Alternatively, you could contact a specialist LCD company such as this (I don't know of one in UK).

You indicate that you are in Swindon. I don't know if Camlab in Farringdon Road could help. They have a repair service.

    Thanks John,

Samsung also referred me to Digicare. However they will no doubt charge me for a replacement lcd, as well as labour. I view this as unnecessary expense, as I am sure I can replace it myself.

It is through specalist suppliers such as the one you supplied whom I wish to eventually purchase the screen from.
