    AVG Antivirus keeps popping up?

    Almost everyday when I get on my computer a windows box comes up and says that the antivirus hasn't passed their security or something and it says continue with installation anyways or stop installation. It pops up at least five times after you click on your selection, then eventually the AVG antivirus box will come up and say I need to restart. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    If you are using the free version of AVG, I would remove it, and use MSE and install Malwarebytes (both are free). update both and run full scans in safe mode just to rule a malware issue ... some malware has been known to disable anti virus programs

    That happened to me and it wouldn't go away, so what I did was uninstall AVG Antivirus and reinstall the latest update of it.

    Or better yet, uninstall AVG and install a more effective AV like Avira, Avast, or MSE. :D

    i used avg for a year but got quite a few false positives and avg has lately become power hungry so i now use avast pro and have had no problems for the last year.
