Hi everyone
I just have a question about Anti-Virus/Internet Security. I am currently running the McAfee Suite however I was just wondering if there is something better/ more effective out there that offers all the same features but doesn't hog a heap of system memory.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because I don't really want McAfee on my new computer.

Zone Alarm is a great AV software.

i will never rec zone alarm sorry za fans. have had way to many issues with it and try removing it all when you want to. it had known chkdsk issues at one point.. any program i need a specific uninstaller for will not find its way onto my system...
imo the overall best / lightest suite out there is avira. kis 7 uses a bit less memory but can be much heavier on browsing the web, and does tend to slow down some systems. also check out the newest eset ess security suite.
f-secure suite is a awesome one but its pretty heavy on the system.
personally i recc either avira or nod32 for av and look n stop for firewall. -
also if you want to get kaspersky i have a link for 50% off and an extra 30% off.. 3 pc's for 2 years is like 59$

Avira AntiVir is a good AV.

Have a butchers @ Look N Stop. Not for the fainthearted but once you know what's happening it's fine.

And it's probably the lightest firewall there is. -
Firewall: Comodo
AV: Antivir, Avast -
You should definately use Eset's Smart Security. It has anti-virus, firewall, and anti-spyware all built in and has a great user interface.

Well if it's the same one as the new NOD32 then that's a matter of opinion.

I have been recommended by heaps of people to go for Nod32, however they now that Smart Security out which also has a firewall. Being relativley new, there are not may reviews and reliability tests out. How do you find it? Do you find it hogging RAM? I guess been designed by Eset and with such great ratings of Nod32, Smart Secruity may be good.
