    Before I order Norton Internet Security 2009, I examined the features of Norton 360 2.0. They look intriguing, but NIS 2009 seems to review much better.

    Any insight is appreciated.

    If you can, wait for Norton 360 3.0. 2.0 uses technologies from NIS 08, which, while much improved over previous versions performance wise, still cant compare to the improvements in NIS 09. 3.0 is currently in public beta, and I've had no problems with it performance wise in Windows 7.

    I'm not too sure, i've looked around at the Norton forum but haven't come up with anything definite.

    There is a lot of positive chatter about 360 3.0. Speculation is it will be out within a couple of months. I'll probably wait.
