This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I don't know, so far comodo firewall + avast anti-virus has been an awseome combo... Unless it gets outstanding reviews, i will probably stick with just the anti-virus.

    Each time a virus scanner upgrades itself to a firewaller (or vice versa) it spells trouble - my personal experiences :D

    All paid Internet Security suites have firewalls. Avast! didnt just 'upgrade itself to a firewaller'.
