This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Can't update MSE

    Anyone get this following error when they try to update Microsoft Security Essentials? I have tried with my work Internet (100 Mbps LAN) and home Internet (130 Mbps wireless N) and both give same error.

    I've had MSE since it was released (non-beta) and have had no problem with updates. It currently displays version 1.67.592.0.
