It is time for me to renew my free Avast AV and I was wondering what is the lightest GOOD antivirus [MSE need not apply]. I think I'm primarily looking for the one that uses the fewest threads. Avira, Bitdefender, & Comodo come to mind. I'm not keen on AVG, seen that fail on a few laptops people have asked me to clean.
So, if you can post a pic of the task manger with the info for threads and working set of memory [private and total] like so:

Thank you for actually replying. I was aware of that test, but they don't include the actual thread count. The thread count is what I'm looking for. As an example, I would rather have an antivirus with four processes and a total of 100 threads than one with two processes and 135 threads. I would consider the former to be lighter on the CPU.
