I bought Spyware Doctor 6.0 and I notice the boot up of my computer is slower and just overall my computer is a bit slower. I heard it was a really good program so is the minor slowness worth it?

There is no need to pay for antispyware programs. The free ones work just as good. I remember i bought spysweeper years ago when it was the "best". Even though i paid for it i used spybot search and destroy instead of it. It doesnt lag your system down.

The minor slowless is normal: it's an extra process that's constantly running in the background trying to keep you safe. Some programs slow down your computer less though, so you can try some free ones as well if you like.

It's not worth the money. Heck, it wasn't worth it when it was free. There are a few reasons:
1. There's substantially better free programs
2. It's not a good anti-spyware program
3. It slows down your computer -
I uninstalled the program. Does that mean it's gone and it won't slow down my computer or do anything to my computer anymore. (Are all the files in my registry gone or something)?

Use Ccleaner and do a registry scan to get rid of the remaining keys.

if this program was the culprit that slowed your comp, then chances were that your system would get a boost after the software removal
i would verify and make sure that the folder(s) containing the software has been (manually if needed) removed as well. Then run cCleaner as suggested. Personal observation is that it is next to impossible to clean out the registry of remnant softwares.
cheers ...
Is the Spyware Doctor program that you buy good?
