This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    NIS 2009 - 3 month trial

    For all those Lenovo owners who don't know, there are special trial versions of NIS 2008/2009 (Norton Internet Security) and NAV 2009 (Norton AntiVirus) available.
    There are language versions available for English, Dutch, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and more.
    These are 3 month trial versions (instead of the usual 15-day trial versions).

    Why is the download file about 40mb larger than the typical one?

    I guess because this OEM version is/will be integrated in the Lenovo OneKey recovery system as according to some announcements like here and here.
    Still, it's a guess.

    Edit; Apparantly it works also on an Acer notebook. ;)
