Spybot: New Version

spybot search & destroy has released a new version: 1.5.2

this version fixes the time it takes to open. In the past, it took me from 45-60secs just to open (like everyone else).

this new version erases that time completely. It started up right after I clicked on it.

However, I am pleased to note that the startup time has drastically increased and no longer hangs for around 60 seconds as soccer08 posted.

 

Yeah, i'm glad they fixed that, it has been bugging them since early releases.

The old spybot took a minute for it to start up, really annoying, and it also had not responding issues >_<

 

Yeah, you'd click it and sometimes it'd freeze up on you randomly. Seems fixed now.

 

They've fixed several things on the new version. I've been following the beta fixes but I'm still not satisfied with the new release. The older 1.4version seemed much more stable and less resource taxing. I do have to say this one is SO much better than the first 1.5 version.. I was shocked I thought I'd downloaded an alpha version in progress by mistake.
