Everytime I start my computer, super-anti-spyware pops up asking me to configure it. If I don't (i.e. if I hit cancel) it goes to the program anyway, if I do it asks again next time I restart. Any ideas what could be causing it?
Running Vista Home Premeium 64-bit, by the way.

Download a Spybot- search & destroy software and scan your system.

Super Anti Spyware is actually highly regarded. SAS and MBAM are now becoming the two main anti-spyware programs; replacing Ad-aware and Spybot. Neither Ad-aware nor Spybot are considered any good. They used to be, but not anymore.
As to the problem itself, I've never heard of it before. Has it always acted like this? If it has, where did you download it? -
To post #2 and #3: SAS is the best on demand scanner out there right now. It isn't considered spyware...and Spybot is horrible now.
To OP: Go to preferences and uncheck run at startup. I'd reinstall first from their actual website or filehippo. Also, what exactly is it asking you to configure? -
It's the setup screen that comes up whenever you install it the first time. It basically loses it's memeory each time the computer restarts. I'll try the uninstall/re-download/reinstall route and let you know.
Edit: Or maybe I'll swith to malwarebytes? Yes/no? -
MBAM is good, but SAS is better. I use them both though as on demand scanners.

Didn't get the chance to re-install last ngiht (the missus has a new laptop and I was helping her set that up). Will try again tonight!

Lol, takes like 3 mins to uninstall and reinstall.

Yeah, but one job at a time!
Later: The good old 'take it out and put it back' (or uninstall/clean/reinstall') seems to have woorked so far. Cheers guys! -

Glad to hear it!
I run SAS on my two comps and it works brilliantly
Nothing is worse than an AV or Anti-Spyware program that is more annoying or more of a resource hog than the thing it's trying to remove
Super anti-spyware issue
