Revealed: The Internet's Biggest Security Hole
In a recent article on the Wired website, it's explained how a recently demonstrated exploit can be used to perform a litteraly NSA-style hack using internet routing protocol BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).
This protocol is used to traffic data between ISP's as fast as possible.
Anton Kapela and Alex Pilosov showed their technique, by which internet traffic can be monitored anywhere in the world and even modified, at the recent DefCon hacker conference.
This is such a big hack that you don't even have to worry about it as a consumer.
You can only urge your ISP to get on with it. (Or contact your Congressman/regional member of parliament and demand ' action').
So there is NO need for a new/extra antispyware program.![]()

On a side note;
Viri....In...Space....(think Muppetshow's Pigs in space)
Yes, a quite recent virus has been found on a couple of notebooks in the International Space Station.
It's the W32.Gammima.AG worm, used to acquire online gaming login details.
So either someone brought a 'dirty' usb stick with him or he is a sore loser when it comes to LAN gaming on board the ISS.
How come these guys even have the time to play Warhammer 40K against each other.....j/k.

Edit;
Danmed, only just now I read the thread 'FondueKid' already posted on the BGP hack article in 'Of topic'. My bad![]()
