Hi,
I'm a windows 10 user.I never used any anti-virus program before except windows' built in defender. Now, I'm thinking about getting a security program for my PC. Which kind of anti-virus should I choose?

All antivirus program detections are decent these days, pick from the ones with least performance impact, the lower, the better:

I run ESET NOD32 Antivirus myself, no bloatware, just an antivirus file scanner and HTTP Detections for those times when you accidentally click on a malicious link or some program is trying to do any malicious connections on your system. It is also one of the very few AVs out there that has PUP detection -

Go with Defender in Windows 10 I used MSE with my Windows 7 and it had no problems with software I installed and used. Data points can be used to push one's own product and not show a real world usage that happens everyday.

Just remember the A/V is only good as the user controls it. Some are bloated ware and instead of helping - hinder your system performance thus missing the actual job they are suppose to do is catch virus/malware quietly and discretely.
Which anti-virus should be chosen?
