    hi,

    im just wondering if the newest version of ZoneAlarm is ready for consumption or not?

    is there any bugs/problem that still needs to be fix?

    im currently using the previous version (v7).

    It is in the retail store, I guess that means that it is ready for download / buy; though you can never know with Check Point's staff! ;) Just kidding about Check Point's staff.

    thanks for the reply Aeris.

    i meant by "ready" is "the-major-bug-is-iron-out" when i'am first notified that the zonealam update is available few months ago... i first check in their forum.. it seems the new version has a bug which pro-long the start-up time or what not...

    I have been using version 8 for the last month or so (I think). Got it free for a year during their 24hour deal. Other than my lovely VPN issue, it seems to be up to par with their usual software releases.

    It is the nature of software that there will always be some bugs to fix as nothing is perfect.

    However, I have been running V8 of ZoneAlarm since Summer 2008.
