I have always used Comodo but it ran into compatibility problems with some of my applications. What's the best lightweight firewall to replace it? Doesn't matter whether it's free or not. How is Eset Internet security? I currently use Eset Antivirus. Are the better ones out there? Thanks!![]()

Is there a problem with the Windows firewall? You rarely need more functionality than it provides, and it is pretty solid.

wow, i'm really surprised guys. I haven't researched firewalls in a while - has Window's inbuilt firewall improve so much that I don't really need a third part option anymore?

It's a huge step up from XP's firewall.
In Win Vista and 7 you can configure it to your own properties and will generally inform you if a program wants to go online.
