This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    facebook has been hacked / infected..??

    its been days i have been getting weird msgs from friends .. first day i clicked open one n followed the link. some weird address it was.. and the page which open was facebook login page asking for you to log in. i gave wrong password and it didnt do anything.

    may be i was lucky to use my brain. but does not seem the same case in others.

    messages were like
    XXXXX sent you a message. - "tinyurl(.)com/o5kblj/, 181596"
    YYYYY sent you a message. "tinyurl(.)com/o5kblj/, 233185"
    ZZZZZ sent you a message. "tinyurl[dot]com/pofb3m/, 954467"

    i tried doing some research ..and got this page http://tinyurl.com/nospam.php?id=pofb3m

    i find it somehow ironic how someone posts about getting spammed with unknown tinyurl links that contain virues, and then posts a tiny url himself.. :)

    well, :) wen i went to the site neither chrome nor FF nor any of my antivirus detected anythin.. n the page itself talked about spamming.. but seemed no threat to me..

    just plain curiosity forced me to put this post :eek:
