The logic behind it makes sense. I don't really get the Apple Watch but then again I don't get Apple in the first place but won't this lock out a lot of so-called "hipsters" that buy Apple products and also are covered in tattoos?

Why does it need to touch your skin anyway, does it do an dna test and send it to the government.

Its Apple so that's not out of the question. I have an iPad that I use for a single game but I don't trust that company... Not at all.

Not sure why this is a "gate". It's totally expected given the way it works. If Apple (or whichever company who actually designed that watch) actually did something to alleviate this issue that would make a news piece.
What strategy do you think is possible to alleviate the issue if it was brought up before release?Last edited: Apr 30, 2015 -
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
I don't get smartwatches at all.
Am I turning into an old fart? These kinds and their silly tech!!! -
I'm 30 and I haven't worn a watch since I was probably 12 or 13. I never found them appealing and the bands always get sweaty and uncomfortable or they pinch the hair on my wrists. No thank you.
