Interesting, still only 50% on 10\11. Makes some billions on outdated os.

Still on android 8, more of an issue of not needing a new phone. The custom arena seems to be maturing for my phone though so I may update soon.

It would be great if more people stopped buying (wasting money on) new phones all of the time and stuck with one device/one OS for several years. That "newer is better" brain cancer applies to smartphone jockeys as much as it does to computer users.

Yes.
About Apple, very adept at many things, like the scheme of keeping older devices updated \ functional \ with prolonged life, and at the same time managing to induce yearly delirious buying sprees among disciples for new models. -
My s5 stuck on lollipop still works fine except for a couple of apps that don't support it anymore. I've got a tab 3 still on kitkat that's just an offline ereader. How stupid that google won't just either have a manual download to update or tether option, not too easy to go lineage for non experts. Did get a cheap a01 on 10 if I need it though.

We would all do well to remember that WE ARE the product, not the things we buy that facilitate the theft of our identities. It is a carefully masterminded scam that we pay for that "service" LOL.
We have all participated in the weaving of the web that ensnares us and the chances of escaping are slim at this point.

Just upgraded to Android 12 a week ago.

Totally agree but that's no surprise lol I know people who buy 1200$ phones and they usually get cracked or otherwise broken in about 2 years, crazy. They don't get insurance because it's the same monthly cost as the monthly cost of the phone. They should be giving us free phones at this point they make so much on the data/advertising, training our eventual AI rulers. If you're not "online"/under control you'll be marginalized and penalized, sounds similar to a major issue now doesn't it?Mr. Fox likes this.
