With a bit of effort, I was able to one-handedly operate the Note... So a 4.8" would be perfect for me.

If you look closely in the right bottom corner, you'll see an iPhone. Fishon should have posted it on the iPhone thread :D.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I have the original Galaxy Tab 10.1 wifi version and I made the stupid mistake of updating it via OTA. Went from stock Honeycomb to all that crap that Samsung throws on there. And I hate the bloatware, I don't find it useful at all and I like all my devices clean.

Can anyone give me simple instructions to either revert back to stock Honeycomb or put clean ICS on there without the Samsung crap? I've tried looking at the Android forums but I just get hopelessly confused and I don't have the time to dig through all the jargon.

Samsung Galaxy S III review | The Verge

You know, I really don't get where people get off saying this is an "UGLY" or "aesthetically challenged" phone. It's actually quite the opposite if you've actually seen/used one in person. I found the blue model actually preferable to the white! And I usually like the white model 100x better. On the GS2 white was flat out beautiful. Same with the Galaxy Note. GSIII I'm going to have to side with the dark blue faux brushed metal. It just looks fantastic in person. Plus I agree with The Verge in that the ergonomics are -great-. MUCH improved over the GS2. It actually reminds me a LOT of the Skyrocket. I've always liked the design of the Skyrocket, but not so much the Snapdragon in it.

We all have our own definitions of beauty.
Personally I've never seen a white phone I liked.

My iPhone is white. So was my GSII. Lol. Loved them both because they didn't look like all my other devices. The iPhone looks classy in white, IMO.

But yeah, that's my opinion. But really, never liked a single white phone?

White plastic just looks minging after a while.
I guess I would consider the iPhone in white if I were ever buying one but since that'll never happen...

I'm not even sure if I've ever considered any phone 'beautiful'.

Ironically, I hate phones in white.

The Galaxy S III is the FIRST phone I actually like and would consider in white :p

But from the pics I've seen the black one looks like brushed metal, so that'd win over white any day for me ;)

Lol. As much as I really like BB10, nothing in it is done by RIM/Blackberry. They do innovation through purchases.

The Sense music player is done in-house. It literally won't work without the Sense frameworks.

On a related note, finally swapped my SIM cards around.

After tossing out the Note and putting that SIM card back into the Omnia, I've now swapped around the SIM cards in my Lumia and One X - main number is back with Windows Phone.

    *Breathes giant sigh of relief*

    I feel better already.

why give up the note? Not hating, just curious. If the note were on verizon I would have gotten it. But it wasnt and while i personally love the Rezound's design, it wasnt in my uber meager price range when I first bought my Stratosphere and I couldnt swap for it after my returns of the former.

I though white phones were for females? :p

For some reason the white phones seem like they are lighter (also the white iPads).

The only thing I don't like is that a white phone really shows the bezel... but my next one will probably be white just because it looks good even with clear cases.

I've already said I'll be doing development on it to several of the users that have donated to me in the past, so it has to be an AT&T S4 model. Thinking about buying one off XDA, if I can find a decent one/seller.

I'm seriously considering the Droid 4 as my next phone. I got to play with a working model the other day; the keyboard is a HUGE improvement over the one on my Droid 2. The screen isn't as good as one on the Droid Bionic, but I found the Bionic to be too big for my tastes. The Droid Razr is too thin for me, and the Droid Razr Maxx is too pricey. Considering that I pay insurance on my Droid 2 in which I have a $90 deductible should something happen to the phone, yet I can get a $110 Verizon credit if I traded my current phone in, I really don't know why I haven't picked up a Droid 4 yet.

Speaking of my Droid 2 though, remember when I was complaining about the fact that when I shut my phone down, 50% of the time it would turn itself back on? Well, I got an OTA update about a month ago (no ICS though :(), which *almost* fixed the issue. I've shut it down multiple times since then, and only once did it turn itself back on.

It sucks that Verizon's keyboard phone choices are so moribund but I honestly wouldn't go with the Droid 4. Yes the keyboard is great (the d3 i use is also steller) but I still cant wash the taste of a flagship handset being cast aside within 8 months like the D3 was (guess what isnt getting official ICS...) out of my mouth.

Add that Motorola's/Verizon's insistence on encrypting the bootloader makes things that much more difficult for developers, plus that the Motorola GB software is painful at best and its no longer compelling to me.

    Then I was all like...

But yea, the Droid 4 is almost an afterthought. It was reviewed as lackluster and it's gigantic compared to the RAZR. No user replaceable battery, a bad camera (most would say), a terrible LCD (ghosting and bad viewing angles), locked down, short battery life... I could go on.

Well the droid 4 isnt the only one with ghosting. My gnexus does it quite often and the radios on all 3 that I have had in the past 9 days are terrible. Not only do I see ghosting from time to time the screens have all be grainy and not very good quality. Honestly Im considering walking into spritn here in the next few days and trading it for something else even if the EVO lte isnt in yet. I hate the thought of a non ICS phone, but honestly dealing with this phone is just not worth it anymore. I need to be able to call and receive texts and emails at a bare minimum and this phone cant do it in 2/3 places I frequent.

Verizon offers 14 days to return a phone. They told us they would not be able to unless everything, the box, manuals, and the plastic wrap is returned. They're going to get their plastic wrap alright...right were then sun don't shine.

Yeah thats messed up! Im bringing back the box and everything that came with it and they WILL take my phone. They have a satisfaction guaranteed for a reason and if your not satisfied Id speak to a manager and go on up the chain until someone honors it.

From using several Tegra 2 tablets, it's not even able to maintain 60FPS throughout the UI. The homescreens bog it down when there are a few live widgets going and it really shouldn't be that way. 2D acceleration with T2 just isn't up to snuff.

BTW, I'm using the software that came on the tablet, if that makes a difference.
