My Pixel 2 XL is fast and smooth with Pie, and battery life seems to have improved.
The iOS-esque "swipe up on home" is trash. No advantage over the three button setup, and it frequently confuses "swipe up on dock to get app drawer" and "swipe up on home to get multitasking." Thankfully you can turn it off. -

Privacy International investigation finds a huge number of Android apps share data with Facebook -- whether you have an account or not betanews.com | Jan 1, 2019
Facebook's track record with privacy is a rocky one, but the idea of giving up some personal data is seen by many users as an acceptable price to pay for using the social network. But an investigation by Privacy International has found that many Android apps are sharing data with Facebook about people regardless of whether they are logged into their Facebook account... or even have a Facebook account at all.
The findings of the investigation raise questions about Facebook's transparency when it comes to handling user (and non-user) data, and the privacy implications of profiling by the social networking behemoth -- particularly in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
Well said...

I don't use any apps I listed above and basically sharing what I heard from my friends who use these apps. -
Facepoot, Twatter, Instaflem, SnapClap and similar social media puke buckets are a technological scourge and digital blasphemy. I seldom log into any of these accounts and all of them were created with totally fake identification information. All they are is identity theft mills and a place where lots of people that I fundamentally disagree with on life's most important issues can spew their retarded nonsense. This never became clearer than when we saw their Nazis moderating accounts that the "leaders" of these digital toilets disagree with on social and political issues.
There are some good people that use these social media outlets, including some people that I love dearly. But, many represent society's lowest common denominators.Last edited: Jan 2, 2019Spartan@HIDevolution, Starlight5, Papusan and 2 others like this. -
