I'm looking for a budget tablet to pair with my x220, for everyday usage.
I'll use it only for office tasks, web browsing and so on.
I'm not interested in gaming and video (editing) but I'd like to have an average display, not so bad performance and a really good battery life.
I'd like to remain on a 8 inch size tablet and I'm considering mainly the following products:
- Lenovo P8
- Onda V80 Plus
Can You give me opinions/advices to make the best choice ?

I have a LePan mini...Yep it runs on old android software...but it has amazing battery life and its fast. best of all I bought it new from bestbuy for 59.99....
-
Just because you're not going to use it for gaming doesn't mean you should skip considering the Nvidia Shield Tablet K1.
-
I'm considering budget and possibily recent models.
Tht K1 was a great tablet for gamers but it costs more than I'd like... and is a little too bulky.
Onda v80 plus (for just 80 euro) and Lenovo P8 (aka Lenovo tab 3 8 Plus) seem to be average products in terms of quality/price ratio and both comes in LTE version, too. -
give the onda a shot and report back! I'm interested too!
-
The main drawback of the onda, sue to the high res panel, is the battery life.
While the more expensive lenovo seems to be really a best buy, in its price range. -
yeah. that would be a bummer..what is the supposed battery life with the onda?
-
I think no more of 3 hours of display. The main drawback seems to be the pack of system optimization when Android is chosen.
Models most interesting to me are for now Lenovo p8, chuwi hi 8 pro and the old dell venue 8 pro.

I've decided to go with Lenovo P8 (tab 3 8 plus).
It seems to have all the specs I need and the current price (130 euro) is right.
