I got a new toy last night: http://www.teclast.com/en/zt/X89dualos/ I've been playing with it all day today. The specs and price are really good. It was $120 shipped to my house. Quality seems to be decent and it uses the same 2048 x 1536 screen as used in the iPad Mini, which is great. They have some other tablets with similar specs but different screens that are considerably cheaper still. On startup there is a menu where you choose Windows or Android, then it boots the desired OS as normal. It currently ships with Android 4.4.4 and Windows 8.1. After hearing about how bad Android is on x86, I was a bit skeptical, but it works great. Windows 8.1 sucks as much as ever, but hey, you have a fully functioning desktop OS in your pocket. The only problem is that some things are a little small and hard to select without a stylus. I'll update it myself to Windows 10 soon and hopefully there is an update to Android 5.0.1 like the X89's big brother got today.

Please do give an update. Those specs seem fairly well rounded. I wonder how well the Bay Trail SoC will run dual OS'.
Another thing...500MP Camera???
I wonder what the battery life is like running x86. -
Update to Windows 10 ASAP. I think it's a far better tablet experience than Windows 8.1 was.

1. How can they sell a tablet with windows licensing so cheap?
2. How are they getting away with calling the screen a Retina display? -
That was my first question - is 8.1 on this activated? I know some of the off brand HDMI sticks put Windows and Android on but don't activate Windows so it locks after x days.

2. They aren't. They call it an IRetina display. Welcome to China. -
Starlight5 Yes, I'm a cat. What else is there to say, really?
Qing Dao, I'm eyeing dual-OS Teclast X98 Air 3 64G with BT keyboard case, cheapest I found so far is $238 ($25 less without kb case)... Kinda expensive, amirite?

that made me laugh.

Not too expensive. It is still a lot of computer for the money. Here the same tablet with accessories is $195 shipped, so not too much of a discount.Starlight5 likes this.
