I have been noticing lots of missed notifications and what not with my iphone 8. Actually it's been a long while. So there is obviously a fault in the system somewhere along the way. So, for the first time in my time of iphone ownership, I have to do a factory reset on my device. I had to do one on my son's ipad recently due to lack of storage, but never had any issues with any of my iphones from the 4 onwards. We will see if this fixes it up!
Will be good to have that new phone smell again though!

The 4 is why I went with Android. 9/10 notifications just never came through which made a lot of people irritated with me since they could see I "saw" their messages to me.
I hear the 4S was much better but I already my sights on the HTC One m7 -
Try 3utools and flash new 13.6 image with retain data options checked off in recovery mode. It fixed my mom's iPhone 7 not updating from 13.5 to 13.6 and was stuck at 46%.kojack likes this.

I am just going to flatten my phone and go from there.

Got it all up and running again. Much faster and notifications are working as intended again.

Well that was short lived. Back to not getting notifications, watch will not unlock with my iphone, and nor will the phone watch app allow me to set up unlock with iphone. apple is now the android of the smartphone world. It's garbage. Almost like blackberry when Jim was running the show and just super focused on his little NHL team. Apple's brass is so busy protecting their "property" they are letting quality of their software just fall off the cliff. Time to move on!
Well it's finally happend. My iOS has a fault. ha ha
