The fact that it's tougher and lighter than bulletproof glass (per sheet of dimensions X, Y, and Z) doesn't mean that a smartphone made of it would be bulletproof, because a smartphone screen is far thinner than the panels of "bulletproof" glass used on armored cars and military vehicles.
Anything is "bulletproof" if thick enough, including sand and water. But smartphone screens aren't thick.
This reminds me of the old saying that a daddy-long-legs' venom is more poisonous than a rattlesnake. Sure it is, if you're dealing with equal volumes of it, but you're not. That's why nobody is afraid of daddy long legs, and rattlesnake bites can be life-threatening. -
If this is true people will wear there smartphones as a protection then lol
