Not sure which commercial, I don't watch much TV.
The LG V10 also has dual displays, but unlike the edge the secondary screen is along the top. Some pretty cool offerings right now. With dual front facing camera's so you can do 180 degree selfies yay. Don't forget to the V10 quick they are currently giving away 200GB micro sd cards, an extra battery, and a battery charging cradle for free with the phone.

Superior? No.
Different? That's the point.
Android can be customized, there is programs, folders, widgets and stuff. Like this.
Ios customization is pretty much moving icons from one place to another. Like this. At least it has folders now.
That's the most obvious difference, how they look.
I've had both android and ios phones/tablets, currently I have 6s 64GB and ipad mini 2. Apps make the difference, for me it was mainly TomTom. For one year renewal price to my dedicated gps I got the app for life, for all my ios devices with lifetime maps.
First I used android as my personal phone, iphone for work. After I bought the Tomtom app, I replaced android phone with 5s so I could have music, calls and directions to my helmet. I don't have the motorcycle anymore but I did get another iphone though.
What I miss from the android phones? Weather, calendar, clock widgets and the back button. -

I would have loved to buy one but I don't want a 6S Plus it's too big and the regular 6S doesn't have OIS! Great job Apple! Flagship phone that costs an arm and a leg with no OIS when most phones now have it.

since you have the 6S, how is the camera since it has no OIS (optical image stabilization) -
To me it's like any other camera
I press button, a picture is saved.
I took this today. My car was shining black when left the office. 50 minutes, 70km later it looked like that. :/ -

Outstanding simply! This just comes to show that at the end of the day, a photo is all that matter and this looks darn great. Even without OIS! -
That was just taken like... I came out of the car, looked back "oh damn", took the phone and snapped few shots and went to see the customer. I'd say 30 seconds max.
I also take a lot of snapshots on things I'm about to repair to document what type of damage there is. I'll leave studio quality shots to others

Don't sell yourself short. The camera on my M8 is both laughable and abysmal.

After getting tired of Samsung's bugs with the S6 edge+ and feeling left out that Android phones don't get the latest OS updates at the same time with Samsung being the last to give us updates, I ordered an iPhone 6s 128GB Silver color thanks to your photo which showed me that it can take great pics, I don't need anything better than this and I heard the battery life on the iPhone 6S/6S Plus can easily get you through the day on a single charge

That's all camera, not much effort on my part. I just went thru my photo collection (common nominator is the photographer, me): HTC Desire, another. HTC One X, another. Iphone 4s. Iphone 5s. I still upload/backup all my photos to Google, it is so convenient way to share them.
Depending on day, sometimes I come home from work with 80% left. Sometimes 40%. Today I've played few games and stuff, chatted with skype and after 15 hours use battery was 49%. Then it dropped 5% when I uploaded ~470 photos to g+.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
Exactly my point. I did a "Try before you buy" promo with the iPhone last year. I was fairly impressed with the everyday functions, camera quality and ease of use especially. My M8 takes around 10 seconds for the camera app to open, and the quality of the photos is not and never will be good.

Amazing man! One big bug with all Samsung phones is crazy battery discharge even if you're not touching the phone and all apps are closed. Like I would charge my 6edge+ to full and within 10 mins or less it's already @ 99% and keeps draining! I haven't even touched the thing and I am a very light user. This is where Apple has the edge IMO and also their reception is much better than Samsung phones.
All I want is a phone that would last me the full day easily or maybe more with my very light usage.
PS: I reviewed all the Spigen cases and this is the one I chose/ordered as the transparent ones are too prone to fingerprints and I don't want to be cleaning the phone all the time:

That looks cool. I got some cheap knockoff case from ebay like under 3$ free shipping
I ordered tempered glass screen protectors too but they haven't arrived yet. Now I have couple scratches on the screen already :/

I came for cookies... not to eat them, just because when it comes to iOS I flat out can not STAND it. If I wanted bubbles I'd go to the local gay bar (and before someone makes a joke - I AM gay, I'm just not the stereotype)... Seriously everyone talks about how easy it is to use an iPhone... I've built computers since I was 12 and I took apart every toy I ever had when I was a kid... Navigating Android is incredibly easy compared to iOS even stock and I own an iPad so I'm not just being a fanboy... The only reason I have the iPad is because some games work better on it than my Nexus 6... The second I get a Snapdragon 820 I'm selling the iPad. At least they hold their value though...

I found it very hard to navigate around iOS when I first bought an iPad as my very first tablet (about three weeks ago). I'd only been using Android previously for my smartphones (and still do). I've grown accustomed to it now though and can now navigate just as quickly though iOS as Android.
I think both are simple and easy to navigate once you get used to their respective interfaces.

I've always described iphones as the dumbphones of smartphones.
User interface is like: unlock phone, swipe thru numerous pages to find the app you want and tap it. To exit the app, tap the only button on the phone. Find and tap the next app... It is so simple, because there was nothing else before they "invented" long press menu, ermm... 3d touch menu
Even my dad figured out eventually how that works in his ipad.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
I guess after using Windows Mobile and then Android, I got used to the complexity. Although there isn't a world where I would say that Windows Mobile was better than any android I've ever used. That OS was a mess!

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Pre Windows Phone 7, Windows Mobile was garbage, well WP7 still wasn't great. I liked my iPhone 5 in many ways, but I also hated the battery life towards the end of its life (it was barely lasting 12-14 hours of limited use). The only main benefit for me now getting an iPhone is when I travel to Asia, they are all unlocked so I'm able to swap in a sim over there. -

AND, the battery on the 6S is small capacity wise but thanks to the OS optimizations that really work and better cell reception, the battery actually lasts much longer than the iPhone 5/5S/6
I have owned all of them and can tell you from experience I needed to charge those phones twice a day but with the iPhone 6S it's charge once a day with my average usage. -
I feel awful already, I have some 5" lumia in front of me that I need to setup for a customer in couple hours. Do not want
As an OS I wold prefer android but I don't really use the OS, I use the apps and I find most of them better on the IOS side. If you catch my idea
-
I'm not talking about Windows Phone, I'm talking about about Window Mobile, the ancient Windows OS that used resistive touchscreens... It predates android and iOS by many years and was mostly used by business users. It was very modable though... Literally every part of the operating system could be relatively easily modded and if it wasn't for the fact HTC dominated the market and refused to pay Qualcomm licensing fees for the Imageon 3D chip that would have taken away the stutter of the OS until right before Android came out and smashed it, we may be looking at an entirely different OS landscape but neither Microsoft or HTC marketed to the mainstream and it died.
-
Oh yea, THAT one. I had two of those, HTC S710 and Touch Pro.
I actually had the S710 in my hands couple days ago and I looked ebay for spare parts. It's display did not approve titanium usb drive in same pocket and became useless.
Indeed they were moddable, I added option to type scandinavian letters with Fn-keys and lots of other stuff I don't remember anymore.Ethrem likes this. -
My first was the PPC-6700 then i got the Mogul, Touch, Touch Pro 2, and then jumped ship to the HTC Hero but man the first HTC Sense was crazy compared to what they had to dumb it down to for Android!
iPhone 6S, anyone?
