So I got a Jet Black iPhone 7 256GB recently
The battery life is not so great like my previous iPhone SE, at the end of the day, I have only 20% left whereas with the iPhone SE I would have 40-50% left using the same apps and what not
anyway, here are some pics I took today while I was in the BMW Agency (I think the camera is on par if not a little bit better than the Galaxy S7:

The iPhone SE gets its remarkable battery life from having a sub-720p screen.
You are the only person I've met besides my mother in law who calls a car dealership an "agency." Where are you located? I'm now wondering if its regional.
Nice camera quality, btwbloodhawk likes this. -
Dubai.
The Dealership trend isn't all that prevalent in the east.
Ah for the iPhones .. meh. IMO.
But the new ones are hella fast at what they do.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -

you're right, it's car dealership, it's a habit as here in Dubai they call them agencies, doesn't sound right I agree.
On a side note, the iPhone SE's battery, despite it having a smaller mAH, it much better than the iPhone 7, it can easily last 2 days whereas the iPhone 7 can barely make it to the end of the day despite it having the A10 CPU which uses 2 cores in lower power mode for normal non intensive stuff and 2 cores at full speed for intensive stuff.......gimmicks to the max......heh

Horrible performance
The reason I got the iPhone 7 despite me hating iOS is......
When I first created my Gmail and logged in on my Galaxy S7, after adding my cricket card, I was sent an email from Google to verify my home address, so I sent them my passport copy, driver's license, UAE National ID, etc, but all those were rejected because Google wants an official government document that has my name AND home address on it. Well guess what? In Dubai none of those documents state your home address, just your name and nationality!
so after a while, they finally understood and activated my Google Payments.....
6 months later, when I installed Android Nougat 7.0 Beta on my S7, there was something called Google Pay so I clicked it just to try it, then it told me that my country is not supported, ok no big deal....
A few minutes later, I was sent an email that my google payments is flagged unverified again until I can provide proof of my ID / Home Address.......AGAIN!
So I sent the same documents.........rejected
I then called google and explained this, they then escalated it to their higher management but said we cannot verify your account with these documents.....
I then sent them my daughter's birth certificate which states my name as her father and DOES mention my address........they didn't accept it
I then sent them a recent bank letter for a replacement credit card that DOES state my address......not accepted
I then sent them my tenancy contract which is in my wife's name and sent them our marriage certificate...not accepted.....
so now I cannot use ANY Android phone! Damn you Google!
So I had to suck it up and pay $1200 USD to get this iPhone 7 256GB
not happy, but I was forced...... see the stupidest thing in iOSs file system: how to view pics in folders?

That really sucks.
Luckily haven't had those issues here in the US. YET. -

well even if you did, it's easy for you to verify because I think the drivers license there does have your address on it, unlike here, no document has the person's address, just his name / nationality / date of birth
I tell them, so you're gonna deactivate 1000s of people's accounts for this verification? they're like, well this is a global rule for Google so we have to do this.......this means I won't be able to use ANY Android phone from now on! So pathetic -
Are you sure you were talking to the google folks?
man that sounds like a scammer trying to get more info from you so they can take everything!
That really sucks, but I would do the same thing even being an anti-apply guy,Spartan@HIDevolution and bloodhawk like this. -

yeah man, I sent them the documents through https://support.google.com/payments/contact/account_verification
I also called them and have been following up with multiple people for more than 3 weeks to no avail. I love Android man, I just can't use an OS that I am not able to purchase anything as basic as a wallpaper should I need to.booboo12 likes this. -

Man phone cameras have come a long, long way. For fun I turned on the old iPhone 3G and took a photo, then took the same shot with my iPhone SE. Wow, technology is amazing.
PS: BMW man. Your desktop. now in the dealer. Your arabness is showing my friend
(I am also guilty...I have 2 classic BM and one I am restoring)

For battery life at least the 7 plus is way better. At the end of a day my phone is usually well over 50% (it's after midnight and I'm at 64%).
I hated my 6, the battery life was like an hour near the end.
The stock photo app kinda sucks, there are some decent third party ones out there though. -

I have the battery case and my iPhone 7 now lasts me 3 days
Yes I know about the better photo apps, I use ProCamera by Cocologics
@Papusan -
i can get about 3 days from my 7 plus.

anyone thing of upgrading to the 7s 7S plus or 8?
-
@Phoenix: Can you suggest some tweaks and apps on iphone 7, for now I switched Default Phone to InstaCall Lite. Any ideas?
-
I see no need to upgrade from 7+ to 8+.. X might be another matter.
-
I see no need to update from my 6s actually. Now if my phone fails I will be forced to. But right now, I am staying the course.

Any idea on how to force Apple App store to use USA instead of India?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
you can change your store but from iTunes only (google it) although you need a valid US Credit Card and billing address. When I used Apple iOS before, I had this done. I had a virtual online credit issued by some US company just for this purpose so I can have access to all the apps.Vasudev likes this. -
Yeah. I have no idea. I know there are apps I want to use on all platforms I can't because I am Canadian. But, that's it. such is life.

Thanks @Phoenix. I'll try my luck using virtual Credit card from my bank.
