I have 5years old Toshiba-Portege R100 laptop which my wife is using now. Since it won't boot anymore (there's a error message corrupt file), I'm trying to clean install with all the original CD's I have.

The problem is when I try to boot on external drive it won't read my external dvd driver?

What should I change to my BIOS set up....because I'm changing a lot without any success.

What to press too if I want to boot on external drive?

    Thanks in advance.
