Hello, I just recently purchased a really nice Toshiba laptop but realized that its resolution pales in comparison to my old laptop's resolution of 1920x1200.

Is it possible to upgrade the 1366x768 resolution on my current Toshiba Satellite into a much higher resolution 1920x1080? I am familiar with replacing LCD in a Toshiba because I have done it before, but which LCD should I buy?

Edit: My laptop model is L755-S5248.

I'd like to know this as well. I have an A660 and I posted a question about this, but no one ever responded. I'm not expecting too much, but hopefully someone knows.

    I know it's possible.
There was a fellow Toshiba member that replaced their x775 Qosmio screen with a Dell 1080p screen; they said it works great.

As far as finding out which LCD screens are compatible, I have no idea.

If you don't get any luck here, also try posting in the Hardware subforum:
    Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades

Good luck and keep us posted with any results.
