    Hey guys, what is the 15" toshiba with the best battery life? Is there one which has a decent gpu and a great battery life? I want to buy one in the uk.

    Nothing's wrong with it. It's just that i wanted a backup laptop and i can get a discount on toshs. Any idea on which model i could get? Not too expensive though.

    Well, you could go for the average A500/A505, although it may be a little big seeing as it is a 16". They should have alright battery life though.

    Is there a specific model which houses a midrange gpu such as an ati 4650 or a 5650? Thanks.

    i have just read about battery life on these a500's at notebookcheck. 1-2hrs battery life is too little for a mainstream laptop. Do these have 9 cell batteries?

    I'm pretty sure they do, I saw a photo a while back that had an A500 with a 9 cell battery.

    And I was under the impression that the stock A500 got more like 3 hours with it's standard 6 cell...
