I was looking at Toshiba because I heard they are decently reliable, and they look pretty nice. They fairly recently came out with a 15.6" version of the Qosimo, or however you spell it. Dell also has a new XPS 15z that looks nice. Which would you get between the two?

The 15.6" Qosmio [F755D] is very different from the Dell XPS 15; as the Qosmio is the ONLY 3D glasses-FREE laptop available [3D doesn't require glasses]; and something that comes with a price premium. If that is something you are interested in, then I would consider it; if not, the XPS would be cheaper as it is non-3D.

    Good luck

Hmm ok well the XPS 15z also mentioned 3D. I don't really believe that the Toshiba or the Dell would be powerful enough to handle the 3d part though because they don't have GTX graphics cards.

The only games I would really try it in 3d would be Starcraft 2 anyway, I just liked the thought.

Whoops, my bad.... Thought the 15z was non-3D.

I agree with you, if your going for 3D gaming I would aim for a GTX class card.

    Good luck

It should be noted that it cannot play any games in 3D. I own the PC and am still waiting on a Toshiba patch.
