    does anyone know where i can get bios ver 1.6 im having trouble with the unit slowing down when heating up thanks

    i read a post that says bios after 1.6 throttle back cpu when temp gets up

    Well, the page for Toshiba 1805-S207 is right here:

    However, I don't think it's going to solve your problem. My wife used to have the same laptop. The BIOS does solve a problem with it mysteriously turning off. However, the heat issue remains.

    The CPU also doesn't really change clock speed but just idles for a percentage of time. As a result, whenever the cpu heats up the speed goes down.
